Called EcoStruxure Plant Lean Management, the software offers a collaborative interface that digitises and optimises SIM meeting cycles at one or many sites. It automatically collects the relevant IT and OT data to generate KPIs on productivity, service levels, quality, safety, and sustainability, with real-time access to on-site or remote data. Users can visualise issues in real time and track preventative and corrective actions until they are resolved.
The open platform, which can be implemented on any hardware, integrates with Aveva’s Data Hub, which aggregates and stores vast quantities of real-time data generated by IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) devices. This allows faster digital transformation by removing the need for proof-of-concepts.
Schneider says that EcoStruxure Plant Lean Management builds on technology already used by more than 70,000 operators and in many of its own smart factories, where it has been shown to:
• improve operational efficiency by up to 5%;
• drive continuous improvement with 33% reductions in shift handover activities;
• help to resolve issues faster;
• improve safety; and
• accelerate digital transformation using an open, scalable and cybersecure IIoT platform.
