Senseye, whose headquarters are in Southampton, provides predictive maintenance technologies to manufacturers and industrial companies around the world on a software-as-a-service basis. It claims that these technologies can cut unplanned machine downtime by up to 50%, while boosting maintenance staff productivity by up to 30%.
“Senseye’s AI-based solutions complement our digital services portfolio driving efficient and scalable predictive maintenance,” says Margherita Adragna, CEO of the customer services business in Siemens Digital Industries, which Senseye is joining. “This will allow us to offer highly flexible solutions to help our customers across many industries to determine the future condition of their machinery and, hence, increase their overall equipment effectiveness.”

Senseye was formed in 2014 as a spin-out from Southampton University. It uses purpose-built machine-learning and artificial intelligence for predictive maintenance which integrates with existing infrastructure. The technology can be used by maintenance operators with no previous background in data science or traditional condition monitoring.
