The acquisition of Anstee and Ware will more than double PPG’s total number of employees in the UK from 120 to 270 and make it a strong player in the UK electrical services market.

Anstee & Ware, established in 1948, has one of the UK’s largest workshop facilities for electrical and mechanical repairs at its Avonmouth headquarters, and offers services including fabrication, machining, balancing and testing. It has six other sites in Stonehouse, Cardiff, Swindon, Castle Donnington, St Austell and London.

Parsons Peebles Group, which is owned by Clyde Blowers Capital, is a leading provider of electrical machines and associated services. Its history stretches back to 1898 and it has facilities in Rosyth, Scotland and Sheffield, England. Its capabilities include new machines and aftermarket systems for high-voltage motors and generators for the oil and gas, power, mining, marine and general industrial sectors.
