The new drive will support Modbus RTU, with optional support for Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet IP and CANopen. Pluggable control terminals and plug-in power supplies up to 7.5kW will simplify wiring. The new drive also offers integrated brake control, EMC filters and dual-channel STO (safe torque off) functions, eliminating the need for external components.
The memory modules can be used to copy parameter sets from one drive to another, with data loading into the drive automatically when the module is plugged in. The modules can be programmed on a PC or via a dedicated programming device.
