The new facility, in Swindon's Pagoda Park, is intended to satisfy the growing demand for EC technology, driven by legislation aimed at reducing the energy consumption of building products. The site provides the manufacturing capacity needed to satisfy future demand for the quiet, controllable EC products.

“With demand for our EC products at record levels, we are delighted to be able open this new, world-class manufacturing facility here in Swindon,” says Torin-Sifan’s commercial director, Paul Kilburn. “We firmly believe that the significant investment in our infrastructure and capability will enhance our position as a key technological partner within the European HVAC markets we serve.”

Torin-Sifan, which is celebrating its 50^th anniversary this year, will continue to manufacture traditional AC-motor-based-technologies at its headquarters site, also in Swindon. The company sells more than a million products every year.
