The first of five UK dates for MDS was held at Erik’s distribution and repair centre in Broxburn, and included presentations from BPMA, ESTA, Resource Efficient Scotland and Gambica, among others.
“The issues addressed today are critical in understanding how to save energy”, says Steve Brambley, deputy director at Gambica, one of the five founding stakeholders. “MDS is the only platform in Europe that not only helps users to optimise existing processes but explores new technologies and practices within in the key areas of pumps, compressors and fans.”
Attendees had the opportunity to meet and quiz international experts. “Where else can you meet industry luminaries, highly respected in their field and ask questions on issues that are shaping the future of motor-driven equipment?,” asks Nigel Jones, Eriks’ national sales manager. “I wanted to meet like-minded individuals and share in our experiences. MDS Scotland delivered the quality of content I hoped it would, allowing attendees to glean valuable and practical information.”
