Published:  31 July, 2013

Roger Evans has been appointed as Schaeffler (UK)’s managing director, with immediate effect, succeeding Kate Hartigan, who is retiring after serving more than 19 years at the company.

In addition to his new role, Evans will continue in his current position as plant director of Schaeffler UK’s automotive production site in Llanelli, South Wales.

Hartigan, who has been Schaeffler UK's MD since 1999, will begin a phased retirement on 1 August, 2013. She will continue to support the company in an advisory capacity until December.
