igus glides into new HQ

The plastic bearings and energy chains specialist, igus UK, has moved to new premises on the outskirts of Northampton, about ten miles from the M1 motorway.

The new 2,600m2 site was opened officially recently by igus` global chief executive, Günter Blase (shown above), who cut a ribbon in the coprorate orange colour. He praised the efforts of the UK subsidiary, saying that it had done "a great job".

As well as housing the company`s sales office, the site has areas dedicated to igus` various technologies, including energy chain cable carriers, linear guide rails, and flexible cables.
