Rexroth expands to get ready for Star

Mannesman Rexroth is expanding its Cirencester site to accommodate its Star linear systems business which will move from its St Neots premises by December, to join the other Rexroth business, Indramat and Mecman.

Rexroth is erecting a new building in Cirencester, at a cost of around £1m, to accommodate a machine shop for Star as well as a pneumatic cylinder manufacturing facility. There are plans to expand the site further. Since Star started its UK operation seven years ago, it has built up to an annual turnover of around £4m.
