Nick Fossey takes the helm at Rockwell

Nick Fossey has been appointed a sales director for Rockwell Automation in the UK and Ireland following the departure of Joe Lupone, who had held the position for the past two years. Lupone has left the industrial automation business to take up a position in the US as president of an optics company.

Fossey, who has been with Rockwell since 1977, has held posts both in the US and Europe. His most recent position was as director of the Brussels-based Centre of Excellence for Rockwell`s automation, control and information group.

Fossey has already taken up his new post, reporting to . He will report to Rockwell`s European president, Jordi Andreu, who says that Fossey`s combination of UK sales experience, and his global perspective gained during his stints in the US and Brussels, "will provide significant value to Rockwell Automation in the UK".
