German indexer firm Weiss sets up UK base

Weiss, the German manufacturer of rotary indexers and automation equipment, has set up a UK subsidiary in Telford. The general manager is Keith Gardner who previously worked for Weiss` UK distributor, Weber.

Weiss, which has been operating in Germany for more than 30 years, sells more than 6,000 indexers every year. Among its most recent products are an indexer control card with a built-in frequency inverter, and an indexing ring with an open central section.
