Energy Wizard extends to engineering

Future Energy Solutions (FES), formerly ETSU, is expanding its Web-based energy efficiency tool, called the Energy Wizard, to cover the engineering, and food and drink sectors, for the first time. Until now, only the chemical industry has been covered. FES expects to add other sectors at a later date.

The Energy Wizard is an interactive energy efficiency guide, offering free, independent advice on all aspects of efficient energy use. It provides both site-specific information and generic data. The site assessment section includes a chart that illustrates typical energy use and potential savings. A company can input its own site energy use figures to assess the potential for savings.

The generic section is said to provide "the fast track to information on any technology".
