Customer centre gets a refurb

Mitsubishi Electric has completed a refit of the Customer Technology Centre at its UK headquarters in Hatfield. The demonstration, training and conference centre has been equipped with the latest Mitsubishi technologies, with a strong emphasis on energy saving, communications and motion control.

The Centre (above) includes demonstrations of how technology can be applied to cut energy costs and achieve a lower carbon footprint, and how communications technologies can increase information visibility and boost productivity. There are also displays showing how advanced motion control technologies can improve accuracy and flexibility, and help to boost throughput and reduce waste.
 
The Centre also has a training facility, providing courses on Mitsubishi automation products, as well as bespoke courses for customers. Conference facilities will allow the company to hold workshops focusing on industry issues such as motor and energy legislation.
