Omron Electronics has relocated its UK headquarters and Technology Plaza to a new purpose-built site in Milton Keynes. Its warehouse and logistics operations will stay at Staples Corner in North London. The new location`s phone number is 01908 258258.

• The industrial controls manufacturer Tempatron has taken over the data acquisition specialist Data Measurements (DML), and transferred its business and staff from Farnham to Tempatron`s Reading site. Tempatron sees data acquisition as a key area for growth.

• Reading-based motor specialist, the Taylor & Goodman Group has merged with All Around Service and now has a turnover of £6m and employs around 100 people at its network of branches.

Schneider Electric`s chairman and chief executive Henri Lachmann has opened a purpose-built, 10,000m² extension to the company`s Telford premises. The extension, which will provide expanded logistics, manufacturing and office accommodation, will house activities of all its brands, including Telemecanique, Merlin Gerin, Square D and Sarel. It will also serve as a showcase for Schneider`s Web-based building management technology, called Transparent Building.
