♦  ABB has added four more locations to its network of workshops certified to carry out repairs on Ex motors to ABB factory standards. The new sites, in Kent, Hertfordshire, County Tyrone and Dublin, join an existing facility in Liverpool.

♦  The automation equipment manufacturer Ace Controls International has moved to new UK headquarters in Haydock, a short distance from its original Newton-le-Willows location.

♦  The safety equipment supplier steute Switchgear has moved to premises in Malvern. Its new phone number is 01684 310430

♦  The torque measurement specialist Sensor Technology has moved its manufacturing, sales and administration operations to a new site in Banbury, closer to its head office than its previous base near Bicester. The company is launching several new versions of its TorqSense contactless torque sensor, targeting particular niches.

♦  Camden Electronics, the Hertfordshire-based terminal block and DIN-rail enclosure supplier, has acquired Boss Enclosures, the Suffolk-based manufacturer of plastic and metal enclosures, cabinets and 19-inch racks.
