Web site offers resource for maintenance engineers

15 January, 2008

Drives & Controls’ sister magazine, Plant & Works Engineering, has launched a Web site aimed at plant, works and maintenance engineers. Topics that it will cover include maintenance management, condition monitoring, handling and storage, compressed air systems, boilers and burners, training, energy and the environment, and health and safety issues.

PWE Web site

The site offers extensive coverage of global and UK news stories, feature articles split in 14 categories, a regular look at maintenance matters broken down into seven topics, and a round-up recent new products. Other services include: a list of industry events; a forum where visitors can discuss issues of interest to the maintenance community; a searchable directory of companies; and lists of links to other relevant Web sites. Visitors to the PWE site can also download a digital version of the latest magazine.

The site is still evolving and will, in future, include lists of job vacancies in the UK, as well as a buyer`s guide for identifying sources of industrial products and services.

The site can be found at www.pwemag.co.uk
