Anorad heads straight for China to double output

01 June, 2005

Rockwell Automation`s linear motor specialist Anorad has doubled its manufacturing capacity outside the US by opening a plant in China. The factory - which occupies half of a 5,574 square metre plant - will focus on producing the company`s LC linear motors, as well as its high-volume stages and gantries.

In addition to supplying locally manufactured products for Asian customers, the plant will provide OEMs elsewhere with affordable products in large quantities.

"This new facility in China provides us with the ability to meet the demands of customers looking for product to be shipped in the hundreds every year," says Andy Holmes, Anorad`s UK sales manager. "However, we still retain our core selling point - the capacity to custom-build to specification in Europe."
