Join the Ethernet club

The networking giant Cisco Systems has set up a community for European users of Industrial Ethernet. The aim is to help them to keep pace with developments in the Industrial Ethernet market, which is expected to double in size each year for the next five years.

The community will offer services such as a monthly newsletter and ability to share best practice information with other members. It will also provide free access to an analyst from the ARC Advisory Group, via a consultant hotline, and funding for a ROI (return on investment) evaluation service.

A dedicated Web site has been set up, where new members can register.
