Motovario takes over the Spanish gear-maker, Pujol Muntalà
Published:  28 September, 2014

The Italian gear-maker, the Motovario Group, has taken over the Spanish firm Pujol Muntalà, which designs, produces and distributes geared units and elements for power transmission.

This takeover is in line with Motovario’s development strategy, which is based on seeking out global opportunities for growth through integration projects and industrial partnerships.

Motovario will relaunch Pujol and allow it “to respond with renewed efficiency to a market in continual evolution”. It will allow Pujol to strengthen its “already solid, competitive position”, while safeguarding its identity and the continuity.

The takeover has been conducted via a new company called Gear Solutions ES SI. Motovario does to intend to integrate Pujol with its own production and business structures. Instead, it will support the Spanish business with financial resources and help it to define its business strategies, along with planning and realising development projects.
