How OEMs can improve the efficiency of their machines
Published:  24 October, 2014

Schneider Electric is offering a White Paper called On the road to green machines: How OEMs can improve the energy efficiency of machines.

Studies show that OEMs are aware of technologies for improving the efficiency of their equipment and machines. But while many are conscious of growing pressure and demands from the market, they are reluctant to make changes due to the perception that the new technologies will make their machines more expensive.

The 16-page document argues that companies that endorse energy efficiency and sustainability, will experience stronger customer loyalty, produce better-quality machines with improved performance, and find more opportunities for new business.

The document discusses how adopting an energy efficiency strategy for automation and control systems can help OEMs to develop more sustainable and energy-efficient machines, as well as bringing benefits and new values to end-users that OEMs can use to differentiate their products.
