Motor Driven Systems hits the road
Published:  01 May, 2013

The Motor Driven Systems (MDS) conference, held for the past two years in Solihull, is changing format this year, to become a series of regional one-day events being held at locations around the UK, from October to December.

As before, the aim is to help industry to maximise savings from motor-driven systems. The events will cover technologies including motors, VSDs, pumps and compressed air systems. There will be up to 12 presentations at each venue, covering topics including legislation, standards, technologies and system strategies.

The events are being supported by five trade associations: BCAS; Beama; Gambica; BPMA; and Feta. DFA Media, the publisher of Drives & Controls, is a media partner.

This year, for the first time, the IET is supporting MDA and will promote the events to its members.

The 2013 events will be: Scotland (in Broxburn on 9 October); North (Rotherham, 23 October); Midlands (Redditch, 5 November); South East (Hatfield, 20 November); and South West (Bristol, 4 December).
